There are two types of Internet auctions: business-to-person or person-to-person. Sellers of business-to-person auction sites have physical control of the merchandise being offered and accept payment for the goods. In person-to-person auctions, individual sellers or small businesses offer their items for auction directly to consumers. Generally, the seller, not the site, has physical possession of the merchandise. After the auction closes, the seller is responsible for dealing directly with the highest bidder to arrange for payment and delivery.

If you'd like to have your card charged after the auction by Roller personnel and a paid receipt sent to you, please respond to the invoice email with your desire to have your card on file charged. We will not process your card without your email consent. You may pay online or at our office in Denver on January 24th or 25th from 8:15am - 4:45pm. Payments will be accepted in Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, bank wire transfer, cashier check, personal/company check approved by TeleCheck or accompanied by a letter of guarantee from the bank. (Payments in cash, bank wire transfer, cashier check or check with a letter of guarantee from the bank will receive a 3% reduction off of the buyer’s premium.) No payments will be taken at the auction location in Longmont.

We were in the process of downsizing when a friend attended a program by Mr. Will Farmer on appraising, auctions and today’s styles and trends. She relayed that our mid-century modern furniture was back in vogue. We were familiar with the Farmer name from Antiques Roadshow, but knew little about the auction business. We showed Will Farmer, now owner of the business, photographs of our furniture and he was interested. He came to our home, looked at the furniture, described the auction process and carefully reviewed the contract we would sign. From start to finish the entire process was very professional. The Salem, Virginia gallery is spacious and well organized with plenty of parking. The entire staff is very friendly and courteous. The movers were very nice and careful. We were kept informed at every step. We were given a possible range of prices each item might bring, but no promises were made. Auction day was fascinating and fun. Some items brought more than expected and some less. In the end it was a wonderful experience and one we would not hesitate to do again.
